Come up to Jerome for a fun-filled day of art, music, and food. There's so much to do in our great little town. Dave Meek of Thunder Mesa Studio will be open from 2:00 - 6:00. Stop by and see his spectacular trains for villages - definitely a must-see! Damian Gomes' "Bad Angel" Studio will be open 4:00 - 8:00 for art walk in Building A, upstairs studio #302. Meet Steven Schutz and Zushka Biros at the Biros-Schutz Studio, Building A #203. David Carroll's paintings and sculptures will be on display, Building A #304. Janie Layers of Blue Moose Studio will be open! Check her out in Building B, bottom floor. You can follow her on social media at @jesusinjerome Check out the artists in Building C - Black Lodge Tattoo Shop, the Vintage Store upstairs, artist Ellen Benfatti upstairs in studio 203, and the latest gallery on the main floor, animal art. The free town shuttle stops at the Old Jerome High School. Take advantage of this service, as it is difficult to find parking uptown. Enjoy a meal, a wine tasting, and check out our artists and music.

Fast forward to 2017: Jerome is abundant and alive with wine-tasting rooms, ghost tours, historic hotels, cafes and art galleries galore. Stop by the Jerome Art Center on your way up the mountain. We are the first set of buildings on the left-hand side of the road as you enter Jerome on Hampshire Avenue. The Jerome Art Center, formerly the Old Jerome High School, houses a variety of artists with working studios and galleries. We invite you to meet them and support our local art community.

Plein Air Painter, Mark Hemleben, is our Featured Artist this month. "There's a magnificence in the still solitude of nature." Impressionist Landscape Artist, Mark Hemleben, captures the intensity in his plein air oils, documenting the change of light and the dance of shadows and colors. "Its vibrancy and harmony and splendor are what inspires me to capture the abundance of life and energy, the constant change of light and season." Join us this evening for the July First Saturday Art Walk from 5 - 8 p.m. We are located at the top of the first hill on the left-hand side of the road.
