Come up to Jerome for a fun-filled day of art, music, and food. There's so much to do in our great little town. Dave Meek of Thunder Mesa Studio will be open from 2:00 - 6:00. Stop by and see his spectacular trains for villages - definitely a must-see! Damian Gomes' "Bad Angel" Studio will be open 4:00 - 8:00 for art walk in Building A, upstairs studio #302. Meet Steven Schutz and Zushka Biros at the Biros-Schutz Studio, Building A #203. David Carroll's paintings and sculptures will be on display, Building A #304. Janie Layers of Blue Moose Studio will be open! Check her out in Building B, bottom floor. You can follow her on social media at @jesusinjerome Check out the artists in Building C - Black Lodge Tattoo Shop, the Vintage Store upstairs, artist Ellen Benfatti upstairs in studio 203, and the latest gallery on the main floor, animal art. The free town shuttle stops at the Old Jerome High School. Take advantage of this service, as it is difficult to find parking uptown. The Old Jerome High School Art Center is gearing up for a day and evening full of music, art, and fun! First, let's introduce the music scene:Mark Your Calendars! November 5th: The First Saturday Art & Wine Walk, with the music scene at the Old Jerome High School Art Center starting at 4 p.m., into the evening! Sponsored by the Jerome Chamber of Commerce. Music sponsored by The Little Daisy and The Operating Room. DANI BOOTS Kicks off the day at 4 p.m. on the Rooftop with her own flavor of music. Come up and check her out! SAM & REVEREND JON The classic vibes of soul meet the future sounds of funk when this duo drops their searching rhymes, deep grooves and melodic textures into this world and the universe beyond. THE NAUGHTY BITS The Naughty Bits! are a Northern Arizona based glam rock dance band. They bring mash-ups and medleys of classic tunes you might not hear elsewhere. RIVERS RUNS WILD Rivers Run Wild is one of those rare and sacred bands; they prioritize heart and soul over and a story or facade, and you can hear and feel their pure and potent intention in every note. THE OPERATING ROOM The Operating Room is an event space located in the Jerome Art Center that features live music on the first Saturday of every month. The Art Walk runs from 5 - 8:00 p.m. The FREE Shuttle Service picks up and drops off at the Jerome Art Center parking lot. Enjoy First Saturday Art Walk by visiting our artists, then take the Shuttle up the hill. We are the first building(s) on the lefthand side of 89A as you enter Jerome from Clarkdale/Cottonwood. You can't miss us! Work Studio Rentals Now AvailableClick on the images below to go directly to the website. From there, you can view the images of each studio and contact the landlords to schedule an appointment to walk through. More information, such as square footage, rental rates, etc. is available by clicking on the images also. Don't miss the 3-Year Anniversary Party at Red Bench Studios, Building A, upstairs in Studio 306, starting at 4 p.m., and ending at 7 p.m. This is a free event, with a complimentary glass of wine, snacks, and amazing music by Art Patience.
Why? The Old Jerome High School is a historic site, making the name known state (and nation) wide. The Jerome Art Center is the hub of our campus, with spaces for artists to create and show their works. We have combined the two names, now making it Jerome Art Center @ The Old Jerome High School, keeping true to the buildings' history, and modern times.
Let the party continue the Saturday after New Year’s Eve with the January 6th Jerome Art Walk. The Shuttle Service stops here! Park at the Jerome Art Center and let the Shuttle take care of the rest. Visit our buildings and meet our artists before venturing up the hill. Take the convenient shuttle throughout the town to visit the galleries. We are the very first stop on your way into Jerome from Cottonwood/Clarkdale. Be sure to visit Robin Anderson and Margo Mandette in Building C, as they continue to amaze the public with their variety of offerings in this lovely and enormous space. Zach's Opening Reception begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. Don't miss this opportunity to pick up a limited edition, one-of-a-kind photograph from the artist himself.
